Experts of Educational Institutes interested in quality expansion visited Macher Ltd.
The institutes represented by the visitors all are taking part in a European project “Commitment for Eminence” and aim to get a European certificate. The experts’ main field of interests were the methods they can adapt from the economic sphere into public education. Seven members of the Ltd. gave lectures on marketing, informatics, establishment building, change managing, HR, management and equal opportunity. The guests were mostly interested in change managing and workplace valuation, but they also found interesting the regulations of the operating processes, the information feedback, the team work in strategy and fulfilment, the sharing of goals and tasks and the environmental conscious mentality established at Macher Ltd.
Training for the Human Resource-Development at Macher Ltd.

Our competition called “Training for the Human Resource-Development at Macher Ltd. in Székesfehérvár” /Nr.: HEFOP-3.4.1./05/1.-2006-05-0036/2.0/ was fulfilled by the support of the EU and The Hungarian Republic between December 2006 and September 2007.
In the frame of our Human Resource –Development Project we fulfilled the training of 19 employees. The aim of our project is that the daily marketing activities are to be done by colleagues with appropriate knowledge and qualification through trainings and further trainings. In addition to this, middle- and high-management team have to lead the development of venture, with which they can ensure the competitive power of the enterprise together. The total cost of the project is 9.655.000 HUF, from which the sum of the obtained support is 7.514.000 HUF. Our project has a support rate of 77,82%.

Electronic waste collection

Macher Ltd. joined the Electronic Waste Collection Activity in connection with the Responsible Day of Székesfehérvár, which was advertised on 20th September. The company collected the electronic waste arose in the workers’ home and sent them to the collection point at the car park of Skala. With this activity Macher Ltd. strengthens continually its commitment to the environmental protection and selective waste collection.
Building operations

A large investment was launched at Macher Ltd. in July 2008. A 1000m2 producing hall is being built, due to which the working places will be broadened to 125 employees. The planned handover of the hall is in the middle of October.
Open Space

Within the scope of „Be responsible for the community. Be responsible for Fehérvár.” social responsibility program, Székesfehérvár invited the workers of Macher Ltd. for a 5 hours long open space workshop. This workshop was held in Tóparti Secondary Grammar School and School of Arts on 1st July, 2008. With an active participation, the members of the group brought up 15 topics and tried to find solutions on them. The moderators of the workshop were Mr Tamás Farkas (Counsellor of the Major’s Cabinet) and Ms Réka Lőrincz (EU and CSR Expert of the Association É-L-E-T)
Environmental education

In the spirit of environmental awareness Macher Ltd. gave a playful lecture about environmental protection and selective waste collection to a class of primary school students in Németh László Primary School. Lectures on environmental protection will also be held in other classes of the school during term 2008/2009.
May Day at Macher 2008

Insistently on our traditions we organized Macher May Day again this year on 10th May, 2008. The workers of the Ltd. and the members of their families took part in the programme.
Different programs – like quizzes, sport competitions, model performance, board- and card games etc.– were held just to entertain everyone.
