The greatest capital of Macher Ltd. is its management with resources. As far as the strengths are concerned, the company underlines knowledge and its continuous development, first rate customer service provided by Integrated Management System, and the investments aimed at developing new technologies having been realized thanks to the achievements of its management and to procurement resources.
Competitiveness has been improved through the acquisition of state-of art, automated machinery, by increasing the level of mounting, and the continuous product and production development.
When the business was launched, the objective was to produce and ship first class products, but that demand was shortly replaced by another one, namely for the company it became essential to construct its operational order. The ISO 9002:94 standard provided the framework for that. The company management, influenced by the experience gained abroad, was made to find newer and newer methods for developing its quality. With this intention, the company started to get absorbed into the methods of self-evaluation based on TQM culture, then on EFQM at the end of the 90s. As an inner demand, environmental conscious way of thinking came to the front.
As a result of all the above-mentioned, the Integrated Management System was developed, which incorporated the elements of MSZ EN ISO 9001:2009, MSZ EN 9100:2003, MSZ EN ISO 14001:2005, and EFQM as well.
The economic decline of the recent years has demanded the exploration of inner resources, and the transformation of the organization from a task-oriented organization to a results-oriented one. It has become apparent that crisis management requires conscious preparation so that the company could emerge stronger after the difficult period. For this very purpose, the management of the company has developed a 5-step crisis plan, whose most important factor was to retain the well-qualified human capital. Thanks to the realization of an educational activity integrated into the production process, the skill levels of employees have increased, so the company could consciously prepare for the post-crisis era.
The subject of CSR is of significant importance. The company takes part in the work of several organizations, and plays an active role in the shaping of the industrial politics of the region. Additionally, it contributes to the spread of quality culture, through the popularization of EFQM.
Macher Ltd. regularly takes part in company visits organized by different associations, partner meetings and conferences providing the opportunity of benchmarking. (e.g. Hungarian Association for Excellence, ISO 9000 Forum, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fejér County, ITD Hungary Zrt., IFKA Hungarian Quality Development Centre)
The company has been conducting Hewitt Inside questionnaires in the last 10 years in order to keep track of the colleagues’ opinions. Based on the feedbacks, the company initiates developments in order to improve the loyalty and satisfaction of the colleagues.
The traditional sponsoring and social supports are granted with regard to the resources, based on a set of criteria defined beforehand.
Macher Ltd. has a stable vision of the future. The tasks of a strategic cycle are not obscure concepts for the colleagues, but they are characteristics of the daily routine. In its view, the company regards its employees as a special capital.
